I have been with my girlfriend for about 9 months. Her father past away 3 years ago and Father’s Day is coming up. I want to give her a gift, simple and thoughtful, just to bring a smile to her face.
Any ideas?
This is a really gorgeous idea! Maybe find a pic of her and her dad and frame it, or if there’s anything she ever used to do with him that you know of then arrange to do it with her.

thats stupid, you give your own father a gift, not people with dead fathers

Now, Anonymous…be careful. Think, will this make her sad? If not, totally go for it.
Give her something that will remind her of her father. Did he have a hobbie? If he liked fishing, give her something that has to do with fishing. Did he like to garden? Give her flowers. Did he like to build things or did he do something that had to do with tools? Give her a wrench or a hammer. Last one sounds odd, but that would still make her think of her dad.
Maybe just give her flowers, or write a poem about fathers and daughters. Or find a poem online. Or you could get a little note book and fill it with father-daughter quotes. The last idea would really be touching, if you ask me. It just seems so thoughtful.
