Well i know mothers love hand made things why dont you got to a pottery store where you can decorate your own cup,plate or what ever they offer. Im sure that if you decorate it and she can see it or use it everyday she would be thrilled.

I think it would be cool to get a basket and fill it with either of the following according to which theme you choose…topping it with flowers would be oh so sweet if its within your budget.
Movie Nite:
If she likes movies, go to Walmart or video store and pick out two she hasnt seen or wants to see. Add popcorn, her favorite munchies (candybars, candy, granola bars, sunflower seeds) and a couple of sodas and you got it all ready to go. Wrap with cellephane and ribbon.
Spa in a basket:
do the same thing except choose manicure, pedicure and relaxing items like candles and bubble bath/bath salts. write a cute note about letting her really have a nite to herself and then try to sneak in her calendear and circle a nite thats just for her. agree to hold down the fort so she can relax and offer to do her nails. If you are under 21, you may ask a friend to get a bottle of wine for the basket.
Favorite things:
This is a basket filled with her favorite things (snacks, lotions, nail polish, books, music) an eclectic assortment of stuff that you know she likes. On your moms day card, inlcude a note of why you chose each particular thing (for example… I chose skittles so you could carry a rainbow with you everywhere you go… somethings would be sentimental and others funny.) I bet she would be really touched.
